About Me My name is Kristin Palanchi, I graduated from Fairleigh Dickenson in 1994 with a BA in Political Science. I worked for a short time after graduating and then left the workforce to raise my children. I am the mother of four children and boy is it hard work! My primary focus for the past 13 years has been raising them. I am well aware that they are growing up and I will soon be out of a job. At that point, I will look to reenter the work force. I am excited about this next change that is coming in my life. I have been anticipating the change and I am determined to select a career I would enjoy. The School Library Media Specialist Masters Program fits me perfectly. I currently volunteer six hours a week in two different libraries in my district. The schedule started because it gave me weekly contact with my childrens' teachers. Eight years later, I realize that I love the library and would like to make a career of it.
